The Asset Management & Development team provides expertise in strategic asset management and development to maximise asset and portfolio performance to the benefit of our clients.
Our professionals aim at creating value for our clients, through well-positioned active asset management to enhance their value and liquidity. Our experts are deeply rooted in their respective local markets, offering our clients a unique access to relevant market and asset intelligence and first class complementary expertise provided by external partners.
We aim to create maximum value on behalf of our clients through strategic asset management. To this purpose, our locally based asset managers are an active part of the buy, hold and sell decisions. They proactively elaborate and implement tailor-made value enhancement strategies for every single asset1, together with the fund managers, within the strategic framework defined by the client. In 2016, we managed nearly 1,300 lettings to blue chip corporations and government organisations, equivalent to a quarterly take-up of 153,000 m².

The Development team at AXA IM - Real Assets has an established track record2 of successfully managing real estate development projects and development funds. Our team has a combined long-term experience in the commercial and residential property market, having managed, invested in and developed millions of square metres of real estate. Since 2000, our 30+ development specialists team has successfully developed over 250 projects in seven European countries for a total value of over €14 billion and has c.€9 billion current projects3 under development.
Over the last years, our team has created asset value through a combination of creativity, high architecture standards and innovation in synergy with a strong investment and risk management expertise. Our knowledge has enabled us to successfully deliver several projects that have created real and sustainable value and generated returns for our clients.
