Andrew is currently Global Head of Asset Management & Development, responsible for around 200 professionals around the world who carry our asset management and development activities on behalf of our clients. His team includes all of the European Country Team Heads and a team of dedicated Sector Specialists focused on all of the real estate and alternatives asset classes. Andrew is a member of the firm’s Management Board and is Chairman of the Global Investment Committee.
Andrew joined AXA IM - Real Assets in 2016 from Carters Hill Group, a boutique leadership development firm based in Sydney, where he was Managing Partner from 2010. Between 1995 and 2010, Andrew held several positions at JPMorgan (Vice President, London), Deutsche Bank (Managing Director and Co-Head Real Estate Investment Banking EMEA, London) and Goldman Sachs JBWere (Managing Director and Partner, Head of Real Estate, Utilities and Infrastructure Investment Banking - Sydney). Andrew is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and started his career at AYH Partnership (London) and AYH Homola (Frankfurt). He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has almost 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, capital markets, advisory and the not-for-profit sectors across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Australia.
Andrew holds a Masters of Applied Science (Psychology of Coaching) with distinction from The University of Sydney, a Master of Business Administration from Henley Management College, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Science (Quantity Surveying) from Liverpool Polytechnic, United Kingdom.
